Campline Horses and its teams are motivated by the ambition to save the Purebred Lusitano Horse from extinction and have at their disposal hundreds of horses with the genes of the great dressage champions.
At the Santo Estevão Equestrian Center, in a region with a centuries-old equestrian tradition and just a few kilometers from Lisbon, the professionals at Campline Horses work every day for the development of the Purebred Lusitano Horse, committed to training new talents and promoting harmony between animals, people and Nature.

Bred over five thousand years ago, the Purebred Lusitano is the oldest saddle horse in the world. However, the breed has been classified as endangered by the FAO since 2011. This is the reality we need to change. The survival of the breed today requires defending its genetic variability, re-establishing the relationship between the Purebred Lusitano and the new generations through sport and art.
OUR PURPOSE
The Horse Team, owner of Campline Horses, was born to remove the Purebred Lusitano horse from the risk of extinction and to promote Portugal through its secular and recognized equestrian traditions. And today it offers a unique and exclusive opportunity for those who want to invest in horses descended from the two Olympic Purebred Lusitano, Escorial and Fogoso.
