Campline Horses is a brand owned by Horse Team, with a double presence at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and the 2023 Pan American Games.

THE POTENTIAL OF THE LUSITANO HORSE

Recognized as the great brand of the Purebred Lusitano Horse of today, Campline Horses has managed to compete at the highest level with the best in international equestrian sport.

 

Campline Horses and its teams are motivated by the ambition to save the Purebred Lusitano Horse from extinction and have at their disposal hundreds of horses with the genes of the great dressage champions.

 

At the Santo Estevão Equestrian Center, in a region with a centuries-old equestrian tradition and just a few kilometers from Lisbon, the professionals at Campline Horses work every day for the development of the Purebred Lusitano Horse, committed to training new talents and promoting harmony between animals, people and Nature.

Escorial comes from a top lineage of the stallions Spartacus and Xaquiro. Winner of numerous gold medals in model and gait competitions, Escorial has achieved the breed's highest title and today he is recognized as the best sire of the Lusitano breed.

PLS SUPPORT

SUPPORT PURE BREED LUSITAN

Ridden for more than five thousand years, the Pure Blood Lusitano horse (PSL) is thea oldest saddle horse in the world. 

Breed considered endangered by FAO since 2011. 

Today, the survival of the breed requires that its genetic variability be defended. 

Main export and dissemination product of rural Portugal, along with wine, olive oil and cork; 

The Tokyo Olympic Games had the participation of 14 PSL horses.

 

GOALS

Produce 30% of the Lusitanian Thoroughbred breed (PSL) in 2024; 

Recover genetic combinations lost in time (spotted PSL);

Apply the PSL to UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage;

Re-establish the PSL's relationship with the new generations through sport and art.
